Delegation of Hebei Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs Visited HEBUST
On the morning of November 11, Nobel Prize winner Prof. Oene Oenema from Wageningen University of the Netherlands, Prof. Chen Jue and Wu Xilin, experts in US environmental domain, Ma Lin, Institute of Genetics and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fu Yuexiao, Deputy Director of Project Management Department, Beijing Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, Wang Xianqiang, Deputy Secretary-General of Hebei Environment Federation, accompanied by the staff of HBAFEA (Hebei Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs), visited our university. Vice President Zhao Jiang received the guests.
Zhao Jiang extended a warm welcome to the leaders of HBAFEA and the delegation of experts. He hoped to take this opportunity to deepen the in-depth understanding of the two sides and seek appropriate projects for laying the foundation of further cooperation.
Prof. Oenema, Chen Jue and Wu Xilin felt HEBUST impressed them very much. They introduced their research fields and current situation also hoped to communicate with our experts as well as teachers to further our bilateral cooperation.
Yan Cuiying, Vice Dean of School of International Education, presented the work of introducing talents to our school and welcomed the experts to carry out scientific research, teaching and other work by the full support and coordination of HEBUST.
Cui Jiansheng, Dean of School of Environmental Science and Engineering, introduced the situation of discipline, research, teaching and international cooperation. He also had a professional exchange with the visiting experts.
After the meeting, the guests visited the laboratory of School of Environmental Science and Engineering.
