Schoolmates 1991 coming back to mother school after 20 years
On October 2nd,2015, meeting with National Day holiday, more than 80 schoolmates who graduated from Mechanical Engineering College (MEC) 1991, returned to mother school to celebrate the 20th anniversary after graduation. They recalled the past, talked about the thoughts about life, and looked forward to the future. Liu Enfu, chief of Dean's Office, Song Haisheng, secretary of the party committee, Zheng Huiping and Zhang Jiayu, teachers of specialized courses also take part in the meet.
During the meet, those schoolmates enjoyed the documentary of the school's development, held the teacher -student forum to memorize the past, and look around the new campus. They were full of confidence towards the bright future of the school.
The schoolmates MEC 1991 is the last group (former Mechanical and Electrical Engineering College ) of graduates whose certificates were sealed by the official seal which existed before the school combined one. And most of them, now, are strong technical expertise cadres or the leaders in their office. They have been concerned about the old school for many years. Song Haisheng welcomed them by giving an important speech. He congratulated them on their achievements in their own area. Besides, he introduced the development of the school in recent years, hoping them to give more chances in scientific cooperation and the employment for graduates.
